Less Is More

Lord, please forgive me for my sins. Fried eggs on toast as a snack you say?  Ah but this is no ordinary fried eggs on toast, nor will a photo ever do such an exquisite partnership any justice.

Truffle infused oil. At $32 dollars a pop for a mere 100mL bottle, you'd hope it tasted any good. Drizzle this over a fried egg (yolk runny ofcourse, you shouldn't eat them any other way i say) and toasted bread and voila! A simple, aesthetically deceptive snack for the gods. Even better, the bread i ate was grainy filled with linseed, and sunflower seeds and coated with sesame seeds. So if you use ordinary bread, sprinkle some sesame or any kind of seeds really for an extra bit of texture. Trust me. You will NOT regret it.

I replaced sex with food, now I can't even get into my own pants.

Few things give me as much joy as the smell of amazing food waiting just for me. Having bonded with my co creator over this passion, I plan to document my favourite food experiences here. From extravagent 3 course to meals to the simplest of vegemite toast and coffee - one of my favourites! This photo was taken when I visited Germany last year, the kebabs there were incredible. The most flavoursome tender meat without being greasy, a wider range of salad than we have here, creamy yoghurt on top, and this amazing sauce everyone just called "red stuff". Amazing. Watch this space for more descriptions of the objects of our oral fixations.
